Abstract. The article presents the results of a study of the effect of an octane booster, mono-tert-butyl ether of propylene glycol, on the qualitative characteristics of motor gasoline in order to establish their quality compliance with the requirements of the main Russian regulatory documents. The additive was involved in gasoline in the amount of 1, 5 and 9% vol. The physico-chemical and operational properties of the mixtures were analyzed using standard methods and instruments. It has been established that the model mixtures of motor gasoline meet the requirements of CU TR 013/2011 and GOST 32513-2013 in all respects.

Abstract. The phase stability of motor gasolines containing hydrogenated product of butyl alcohols production was studied by measuring the cloud point. Isomerate, alkylate, catalytic cracking gasoline, catalytic reforming gasoline, straight-run gasoline and commercial motor gasoline of the AI-92-K5 brand were used as the main gasoline component in the studies. Hydrogenated product of butyl alcohols production manufactured at Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat LLC was used as the oxygen-containing component. It was found that the cloud point (stability) of the mixture of gasoline with hydrogenated product of butyl alcohols production (in an amount from 5 to 60% by volume) is in the range from minus 27 to -60°C.
Key words: phase stability of gasoline mixture, gasoline cloud point, hydrogenated product of butyl alcohols production.

Abstract. This paper analyzes existing methods for assessing the aggregative and sedimentation stability of diesel fuels with additives involved to improve low-temperature properties by the example of pour point depressants. A comparative analysis of methods is presented from the point of view of their ability to reflect the assessment of low-temperature properties and are predicted the stability of additive-modified fuels at low temperatures.
Key words: diesel fuel, low-temperature properties, sedimentation stability, aggregative stability.

Abstract. This paper presents the results of a study on oxidized and compounded road bitumen obtained from heavy tar residues. The results show that meeting the increased requirements of GOST R 58400.1 for the low-temperature properties of bitumen is possible by incorporating selective-treatment extracts into their composition. Technological solutions have been developed to ensure the production of PG 58−34 asphalt binder, which is most popular in the Central and Volga Federal Districts.

Key words: road oil bitumen, performance-graded asphalt binder, creep stiffness, resistance to rutting, selective treatment extract.

Abstract. This paper presents an analytical study of the drawbacks of traditional vacuum distillation schemes for oil residues, which lead to intense cracking and reduced yields of target fractions. A novel, patented scheme is proposed for process optimization, allowing for both reduced energy consumption and increased yields of certain target products, while minimizing negative environmental impacts. Laboratory research results confirm the effectiveness of the proposed distillation scheme.

Abstract. Research and pilot runs have been carried out to expand the raw-material base for producing high-quality transformer hydrocracking oil (GK). It is proposed to incorporate into the feed a weighted distillate product—the upper circulating irrigation of the vacuum column of the GK-3 unit. Samples from the pilot-industrial batches of transformer hydrocracking oil GK meet the requirements of the relevant regulatory and technical documentation. Expanding the raw-material base enables optimal loading of the transformer-oil production stages and increases the output of high-margin products.

Key words: base stock of hydrocracking oils, transformer oil, alternative source of raw materials, hydrocracking, upper circulation irrigation, GK-3 unit, catalytic dewaxing.
