Abstract. The world aviation enters an active stage of decarbonization, the main tool of which is the use of sustainable aviation fuel SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel). One of the main components of such fuels are hydroprocessed esters and fatty acids HEFA (Hydroprocessed Esters and Fatty Acids). SAF is a mixture of jet fuel obtained from petroleum feedstock and a renewable component. The only base jet fuel on the basis of which research and industrial tests were conducted is Jet A-1 fuel. But this fuel brand is not the only one whose use is widespread in the world community. In particular, in Russia and some CIS countries, fuel brands TS-1 and RT are actively used, differing in fractional composition and more stringent requirements for low-temperature properties. The article considers the prospects of mixing HEFA with various brands of base fuel. The main methods of adjusting the properties of HEFA for the production of SAF with various base fuels have been studied to ensure a wide geography of biofuel application, including in the Russian Federation.

Abstract. A comprehensive study of the rheological properties of highly polar oil-soluble lubricating systems based on polyester modified with polyoxyalkenyl polyglycerol (POAPG) was conducted in a wide range of thickener concentrations. The characteristics of the system behavior at various temperatures and mechanical loads were studied using modern methods of rotational and oscillation testing. It is shown that systems with a low thickener content (up to 5%) retain viscoplastic properties and demonstrate a weak dependence of the yield point on the POAPG concentration. In systems with a high POAPG content, the development of structural features that affect the mechanical properties and temperature sensitivity is observed. The data obtained expand the understanding of the rheological characteristics of highly polar systems and create a basis for the development of lubricants with specified performance properties, which is important for their practical application in modern technical devices.

Abstract. It was found that in the presence of a Ni-Cu/SiO2 catalyst, a change in the feed rate affects not only the main process parameters, but also the texture of the resulting carbon product. Thus, when the feed rate increases from 340 to 675 and 1250 l/h, the specific surface area of the carbon material increases and amounts to 140, 158 and 223 m2/g, respectively. At the same time, the specific carbon yield varies symbatically and increases from 2.8 to 8.69 g/gcat. It is important to note that the shape of the filaments formed during the process undergoes changes with increasing speed. By varying the feed rate of raw materials, it is fashionable to produce carbon fibers with the «chain», «fishbone» and «truncated nested cones» structures.

Abstract. The article considers the possibility of applying the process of de-asphalting of tar oil and propane asphalt as a method of preparing delayed coking raw materials. A change in the yield of coking products before and after de-asphalting has been established. Changes in the quality characteristics of coke obtained from tar oil and asphalt were revealed before and after the preliminary de-asphalting of raw materials. It has been found that the removal of asphaltenes can significantly reduce the ash content of coke, sulfur content, and increase its microstructure, which indicates the applicability of this process.

Abstract. Among the great diversity of synthetic foams (celluar plastics), polyurethanes are the most famous and widely used type of polymers. Different types of blowing agents are used in polyurethane production to provide the celluar structure of the polymer possessing unique properties. Due to the fast industrial development and the global climate change importance, the search for ecologically friendly alternatives of currently used chemical raw materials and components of some technical equipment like refrigerants is getting more and more important. The basic types of commercially available and widely used blowing agents in PU industry are reviewed in the article together with the current trends providing the sustainable development.
Keywords: polyurethane foam, blowing agents, hydrofluoroolefins (HFO).
