“Oil Refining and Petrochemistry” was established in 1966 by Tsniiteneftekhim. Since the end of 2024 NTWC LLC became the publisher.

The magazine is published 12 times a year. Articles are devoted to scientific and technical achievements and advanced production experience. The collection is registered with the State Press Committee of the Russian Federation, registration certificate series PI No. FS77-88557 dated October 21, 2024. The journal is included in the official list of the Higher Attestation Commission (the List of leading scientific journals and publications published in the Russian Federation in which the main scientific results of dissertations for the degree of Doctor of Sciences should be published).
