OIL, PETROLEUM & METHODS OF THEIR EVALUATION Prospects for the Joint Production of Bitumen and Petroleum Coke at Russian Refinery up to 2030 doi:10.24412/0233-5727-2025-3-3-7 Article Page 1Piskunov I.V., 1Kapustin V.M.,, 2Saitov R.I., 2Konkov D.A. 1Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas, Moscow; 2OMT-Consulting Company, Moscow Abstract: The results of a detailed analysis of the production of heavy petroleum products at Russian refineries over several years are presented. Based on mathematical models developed for each refinery, a forecast of the production of these products up to 2030 was obtained and the main problematic issues were identified. Taking into account the planned launch of new coking units, an almost doubling of petroleum coke production is expected, while in the optimistic price scenario, bitumen production will stabilize at a level of up to 8 million tons per year. Measures are proposed to reduce the risks of the road industry by expanding raw materials for obtaining bitumen. Keywords: petroleum coke, bitumen, coking unit, tar, oil residues. Phenolic Extraction Purification of Deasphalted Oil from Sulfur and Nitrogen-Containing Compounds doi:10.24412/0233-5727-2025-3-8-13 Article Page 1Kameshkov A.V., 1Gaile A.A., 2Ladinenko A.Y. 1Surgutneftegas – LLC KINEF, Russia; 2St. Petersburg State Institute of Technology, Russia Abstract: The article presents the results of single-stage extraction purification of tar deasphalted oil from KINEF LLC at phenol to deasphalted oil mass ratios of 1:1, 2:1 and 3:1 at a temperature of 50°C, as well as using a phenol-hexane fraction extraction system. The degree of extraction of nitrogen and sulfur compounds was calculated and was lower than that obtained by extractive purification of light and heavy vacuum gas oil and, in particular, delayed coker gas oils with N-methylpyrrolidone and N, N-dimethylformamide, but higher than that obtained by extractive purification of fuel oil with N-methylpyrrolidone. Explanations of the obtained results are presented, related to the difference in specific interactions of proton-donor phenol and aprotic solvents with extracted components, as well as with different fractional composition and group composition of raw materials in terms of boiling range. Keywords: tar, deasphalting, extraction, phenol, desulfurization, denitrogenation. MATHEMATICAL MODELING OF TECHNOLOGICAL PROCESSES Approximating Ability of Multiparametric Functions for Mathematical Analysis of Distillation Curves doi:10.24412/0233-5727-2025-3-14-17 Article Page Ignatchik Ya.B., Zuikov A.V. Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas (NIU), Moscow Аннотация: The description of the properties of petroleum fractions is an important aspect in forecasting and determining their properties. The existing limitations of standard methods for determining the fractional composition due to the wide boiling range of fractions lead to limitations in the study of individual sections of the characteristic curve — the boiling point versus the boiling volume. Performing extrapolation to predict properties requires the use of specialized multiparameter functions for approximation. The paper presents the results of using multiparametric functions for the mathematical analysis of distillation curves. It is established that the generalized logistic curve function, which has a large number of free parameters, is more preferable than the Riazi function. Keywords: distillation curve, distillation curve, function, optimization, mathematical analysis. Samara State Technical University Abstract:The potential for enhancing the efficiency of the coke oven chamber product collection system of heating, steaming, and cooling, is demonstrated. Assessment of the Effect of the Operating Mode of Circulating Irrigation on the Clarity of Fractionation of Products and the Energy Efficiency of the Distillation Column doi:10.24412/0233-5727-2025-3-22-25 Article Page Kassem N., Zuikov A.V. Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas, Moscow Abstract: A significant number of projects initiated in the last 20 years in the world are related to the need to reduce the energy intensity of the processes of primary distillation of oil into fractions. The relevance of this area is directly related to the need to reduce financial costs for the production of petroleum products, as well as to reduce the carbon footprint of oil refineries. The article presents the results of an analysis and assessment of the impact of the proposed mode of operation of circulating irrigation (with increased flow) on the energy efficiency of the distillation column. It has been proven that increasing the flow rate of circulating irrigation increases the temperature pressure (LMTD) and the amount of heat transferred in the system of regenerative heat exchangers. Increasing the degree of heat recovery from outgoing product streams and circulation streams reduces the thermal load on the heating furnace and, consequently, improves the energy efficiency of the AVT installation as a whole. Keywords: energy efficiency of primary processing, distillation column, circulating irrigation, flow rate of circulating irrigation. CHEMMOTOLOGOS Changes in the physico-chemical and operational properties of transmission oil during bench tests doi:10.24412/0233-5727-2025-3-26-29 Article Page Seleznev M.V., Evseev A.A., Kotova A.A., Balak G.M., Potemkina E.V. Federal Autonomous Enterprise «The 25-th State Research Institute of Chemmotology, Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation» Abstract: The timing of the transmission oil change is determined based on the study of changes in their physico-chemical and operational properties during operation. Determining the optimal frequency of changing lubricating oils in transmission units (nodes) of machinery is a rather timeconsuming operation of great practical importance. To assess changes in the quality of working transmission oils, generalizing coefficients are used, which are calculated based on changes in their properties. The paper presents experimental dependences of changes in the main quality indicators (kinematic viscosity, acid number, oil resistance to sealing rubber, mass fraction of active additive elements (S, P) and wear (Fe, Cr, Cu, Pb) of transmission oil on the operating time of the hydraulic drive. Keywords: transmission units, rejection rates, hydraulic drive, generalizing
