Abstract. The objective of this study was to justify and implement the production of TS-1 jet fuel at ENISEY LLC (Komi Republic) to supply remote northern regions of Russia with aviation fuel. The feedstock was a blend of low-sulfur crude oils from the Timan-Pechora province. Laboratory and production tests were conducted, including fractionation, separation of kerosene fractions with different boiling ranges, and determination of quality parameters according to GOST and ASTM standards. The optimal base component was established to be the 130-250°C fraction, ensuring compliance with the requirements of TR CU 013/2011 and GOST 10227 (first grade) without deep hydrotreating: crystallization onset temperature of -51°C, density of 776.7 kg/m3, kinematic viscosity of 1.439 mm2/s (20°C) and 3.074 mm2/s (-20°C), flash point of 38°C, mass fraction of sulfur of 0.03%, aromatic hydrocarbons of 12.2%, actual resins of 1 mg/100 cm3. Based on the results, standards for the organization and technology of a pilot industrial batch were developed; in October 2024, qualification tests were completed with the participation of the Russian State University of Oil and Gas and the State Scientific Research Institute of Civil Aviation, and the approval of the fuel for use in civil aviation was confirmed. The scientific novelty lies in the first publicly documented use of a specific pool of Timan-Pechora oils as kerosene-compatible feedstock for TS-1. The practical significance lies in the creation of a local raw material and production base, a reduction in the logistics costs of «northern delivery,» and an increase in fuel supply for the region.
