Abstract. Grease greases based on high-alkaline detergents (calcium sulfonates, alkyl salicylates, and alkylphenolates) as thickeners alternatives to lithium soaps offer significant potential for use in various industries. These greases have similar characteristics, as their colloidal system is formed by a dispersion of calcium carbonate stabilized by appropriate surfactants, which impart additional properties. The article presents the results of work on the development, organization of industrial production, and promotion of these products.

Key words: grease greases; detergents; calcium sulfonate; calcium alkyl salicylate; Calcium alkyl phenolate
